Khawaja Moinuddin Chishty r.a is considered a direct descendant of Imam Hasan ibn Ali (a.s) , one of the revered Imams in Islam, brother of Imam Hussain a.s, son of maula Ali ibn Abu talib a.s and Bibi fatima a.s , grandson of Prophet

During his stay in medina, he received a mandate from the Court of the Holy Prophet Mohammad ﷺ to the effect:
O, Moinuddin! Thou art a helper of my religion. I entrust to thee the country of Hindustan. There prevails darkness. Proceed to Ajmer and spread there the Gospel of Truth.
The phrase “Habib Allah khitab laya Moinuddin kehlaya” translates to “Beloved of Allah brought a message, known as Moinuddin.” It is often associated with Khawaja Moinuddin Chishty, highlighting ,his deep spiritual connection with Allah and his role as a messenger of Prophet ﷺ or saint.
The belief that this message was written on his forehead with a radiant noor (divine light) is part of the folklore and the mystical traditions surrounding Sufi saints.
